Oh God, I just downloaded touhou 8, from mediafire, the one who is tested and in japanese. I was going to play but there isnt any .exe file. Usually are two exe with a face of Marisa or something like this, and one of the exe has a little "E", that is the one for play. So that´s the exe that I havent got!

If you have a DX error, or a missing DLL, go update Direct X, and while your at it, go update windows, because you obviously haven't updated in a while. None of the files above are corrupt, all of mine work. Google is your friend!
Armpit just to let you know I used 3 different Computers and some of the files were corrupt, I had to find the files separate from each other from one of my friends who happened to visit town a few weeks ago.

Deletealright. so i downloaded UFO (using the first link). i used hjsplit to combine the 3 parts. using 7zip, i inputted the password, and i got an error saying 7zip can not open the file as an archive.

Files were complete, containing all the update/language patch files, but they were not yet applied. Useful if you want to play a non-updated game I guess.

First of all Thank you for Uploading all the Touhou games, Good Job.
ReplyDeleteBut with praise comes also critigue.
The Password Guide should realy be on top of the Page.
The Uploader of the Files should be better visible or at least more prominently.
(For example the Touhou 13 Files. At the Top there is written Files in Red are from Dwi and Files in Blue are from the other guy. At Touhou 13 the files were also Uploaded by Kai. Also the Main Zip file which contains the Programm files is zipped in another zip file. Which would not be a problem if not both zip file got different Passwords to use.
First Zip File uses the Uploader Dwi's password and the second uses Kai's password. Just to figure this out tooks me nearly 30 minutes.)
So this realy should be more clearly visible for the people who want to download.
It will save their Hair xD

DeleteZip-File2 inside Zip-File1 uses a different Password to unzip it and if you do it like the Pasword-Guide says the first password will not match the second zip-File password.
Also my complain contains just 2 complains and you should be more friendly to people who ask... especially to newcomer.
If you would read the whole post with the links and comments in an objective view, you would see that i am right with what i say.

ReplyDeleteI have downloaded the 4 files from Immaterial and Missing Power, but I don't understand what I have to do next...
I can successfully join the parts 001, 002 and 003 using the password provided in white, but can't extract the 7z file. Also, i don't quite get what to do with the par file, neither the 'Newbie guide' nor the 'Read this first' say anything about that.
Anyways, thanks a lot for the other touhou games, those which don't involve par files worked perfectly ^w^
par is a file that can repair 7z files...

password guide works globally (for most of the password here) so as long as you read the password guide i don't see you have any problem there

You dont need any emulator for all touhou above 6, including it.
DeleteAll of them works perfectly on Windows XP, Vista and Seven.
For touhou 1,2,3,4 and 5, you need an emulator.
Remember to use the correct password.
touhou 13.5(trial) so.... does tat means tat it wasnt a full version?

And the 12,3...that is actually just an extension of the 10,5 (that is why it may feel like a little bit rushed in comparison with the 10,5).
There is also a new one being developed, the Hopeless Masquerad..but there is a "trial" version available.
For starting with the shooting ones I recommend "Imperishable Night", wich is one of the easiest and it's gameplay is a lot better (personal opinion XD) that Touhou 9 (that is probably the easiest XP )
I not newbie in come to archive file but seem the the touho 13 need a second password I extract all 7zip file but after I extract the 7zip file there's other 7zip file inside it and require other password.. so where I can locate the 2nd password??
